Set Dancing Classes in Cork
Cork Adult Dance Classes
What happens in class?
Whether you are a total beginner, just new to the class or come regularly, the dance tutor Fionan Cogan will be delighted to give you a warm welcome and introduce you to other dancers that may be there on their own or with their dance partner.
While dancing with different people during the night, you will learn how to ceili dance and learn how to set dance. You get to meet people from all walks of life at The Ceili Experience night classes. We are all there to help each other find easier ways of getting around the dance floor.
The more seasoned regular dancers are very welcoming to beginners and willing to give a helping hand through the movements to lean how to Ceili Dance and learn how to Set dance. We are all there to enjoy ourselves dancing, making the learning fun and a more social exercise.
Fionan Cogan lets everyone know if there are public Ceili dances with live bands are on each week, where you can go to practise the moves you have learned in class. Some of the dancers often organise a car pool for travelling to the ceili’s at the weekends.
